In June, three standout members of the Yellville-Summit High School FBLA Chapter showcased their skills at the FBLA National Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida. Elizabeth Smith delivered a compelling performance in Public Speaking, while Hally Shipman and Lillian Gates demonstrated their talents in Visual Design. They earned their spots at Nationals with impressive finishes at the State Leadership Conference in Little Rock, where Elizabeth claimed first and Hally and Lillian placed second.
Accompanied by advisers Hannah Shipman and Tayler Lynch, these dedicated students engaged in intense competition rounds, networked with FBLA members from around the world, and enthusiastically supported their Arkansas peers during the awards ceremony. Beyond the competition, they immersed themselves in the magic of Orlando, exploring iconic attractions such as Disney's Magic Kingdom and Epcot.
Y-S FBLA extends heartfelt gratitude to all the donors and supporters whose contributions made this invaluable experience possible. Your continued support plays an important role in empowering our students to achieve excellence.
