If your student is participating in Golf, Volleyball, Football, Cheer, Marching Band, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, or Track & Field, please create your DragonFly parent account and complete your student's required forms. Panther fans, it's almost time to kick off the 2026 fall sports season! Join us for two great events as we celebrate our student-athletes and get ready for another exciting year of Panther Athletics. 🏈 Green & White Football Kickoff Thursday, August 13 at Panther Stadium Come out for the Green & White scrimmage as our football teams take the field for the first time this season. Junior High begins at 5:00 PM, with Senior High to follow. Help support the football program by bringing laundry detergent or protein items. We're also accepting desserts for the Panther Booster Club Pie Auction, which helps support Panther athletic programs! 🏐 Green & White Volleyball Game Friday, August 21 at Panther Pavilion Chili Supper Fundraiser: 5:00-7:00 PM Junior High: 5:30 PM Athlete Recognition: 6:15 PM Varsity: 6:20 PM Dinner tickets are $5 and can be purchased from any volleyball player. Game admission is a non-perishable food item to benefit the Y-S Backpack Program. We hope you'll join us for both events as we celebrate the start of another Panther season. Yellville-Summit Schools Auction Information

We're excited to kick off another great year of Panther Athletics, and we hope you'll join us as we prepare for the upcoming season! Parents and guardians of student-athletes in grades 7-12 are encouraged to attend our Athletics Meeting on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 6:00 PM in Panther Pavilion.

During the meeting, we'll review important information for the upcoming school year, including:
- Required athletic information
- Heat illness awareness and prevention
- DragonFly Max setup, required forms, and student-athlete eligibility

This year, we are asking all parents and guardians to use the DragonFly Max platform. Please watch for important information and instructions that will be sent home with students and shared electronically over the next week to help you create your account and complete the required forms.

Following the general athletics meeting, football and volleyball will each hold separate parent/guardian meetings with their coaches. If your student participates in either of those sports, please plan to stay for your team's meeting.
We look forward to seeing you on August 4 as we prepare for a safe and successful year of Panther Athletics! Go Panthers!

Congratulations to Chesney LaPointe on an incredible week representing Yellville-Summit, Arkansas, and FCCLA at the 2026 National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C.! Throughout the week, Chesney competed in a national pilot STAR Event competition with her project, AI for Impact, while also taking part in leadership sessions, an expo experience, walking through a presentation showcase, watched the Knowledge Bowl finals, and had networking opportunities with FCCLA members from across the country. When conference activities wrapped up, our group explored many of things around the city, including the U.S. Botanic Garden, Library of Congress, National Mall, Georgetown, FCCLA Night at the Washington Nationals, Metro rides, escape rooms, and other Washington, D.C. landmarks. The week concluded with an outstanding accomplishment as Chesney was named 3rd in the nation in her STAR Event! We are incredibly proud of the way she represented Yellville-Summit with professionalism and confidence. Thank you to everyone who helped make this opportunity possible for Chesney and her advisors! National conferences provide students and advisors with experiences that extend far beyond competition Congratulations again to Chesney on an outstanding national finish. We are proud to have you represent Yellville-Summit on the national stage!

Save the date for camp this summer! 🏀 Yellville-Summit Pee Wee basketball camp is July 27th-29th in the new gym. All boys and girls entering 3rd-6th grade for the 26-27 school year are welcome to come. Students entering 3rd and 4th grades will be from 3:00-4:30, and students entering 5th- 6th grades will be from 4:30-6:00. We will have competitions, awards, and games. You will also hear about fall basketball opportunities for players! Please have forms turned in or mailed by July 13th to receive a shirt. We will still accept forms after that date. You don’t have to attend Yellville-Summit to join the fun! You can pick up forms at the middle school office. If you have any additional questions or need a form sent to you, email makala.allen@ysk12.com.

All seniors and their families are invited to attend a Mandatory Senior Meeting on:

Let's make the Class of 2027's senior year one to remember!

Congratulations to our Yellville-Summit FBLA members, Kyla Jackson and Lila Hurley, on an outstanding week at the 2026 FBLA National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas! We are proud of Kyla for competing in Organizational Leadership and Lila for competing in Future Business Educator. Both students represented our school, community, and state with professionalism, confidence, and Panther Pride! In addition to competing on the national stage, Kyla and Lila had the opportunity to network with FBLA members from across the country, participate in the annual pin trading tradition, and celebrate our chapter being recognized as a Gold Champion Chapter. The trip also gave them the chance to experience the rich history and culture of San Antonio. They visited the Alamo, enjoyed a boat ride along the River Walk, explored the Historic Market Square, and sampled some of the city’s great restaurants, including Chart House at the top of the Tower of the Americas. Experiences like the National Leadership Conference help students develop leadership skills, build professional connections, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you to everyone who supported these students to make this opportunity possible! Congratulations again to Kyla, Lila, and our entire FBLA chapter on an incredible year. We are proud of all you have accomplished!

Their positive choices - and the positive choices of so many of our students- are what make Y-S such a special school community. A big round of applause to Jasmine, Gracelyn, Ayla, and Kenzie, who were randomly selected from Yellville-Summit Middle School’s last quarter PBIS tickets. Each earned a brand-new pair of shoes of their choice! Congratulations to our winners, and thank you to every student who earned PBIS tickets throughout the year. Your character, kindness, and commitment matter, and we can’t wait to celebrate even more success next year!
