Students from Y-S attended a Build a Skill and Career Day at Mt Judea on Thursday, Oct. 23rd. Students visited stations on how to write checks, tie a tie, change oil, and change a tire. Students were also able to visit with industry partners about job applications and qualifications in a variety of fields. See the flyer attached for a list of industry partners that attended.

Y-S Elementary Fall Carnival was a huge success! Thank you to all the families, teachers, volunteers, and community members who came out to make it such a fun and festive evening! FCCLA is holding a Food Drive to benefit the Backpack Program and The Call. This will be going on from October 20 to November 7th. Please have your students take their items to their homeroom/WIN/PACE classes to get their items counted toward the competition!

🌟 We’re grateful to the Arkansas Community Foundation for awarding our elementary school a $500 grant! This generous support will help us continue creating meaningful learning experiences for our students. Thank you for investing in our kids and community!

Yesterday the seniors participated in the Arkansas Application Campaign. Each student applied to at least one technical, trade, and/or college institution, then enjoyed lunch provided by Nick Reynolds of Arvest. We’re grateful for our community members, teachers, and staff who help guide them toward their goals!

Congratulations to Mrs. Smith for receiving the Arvest We Love Teachers grant! This grant will be used for classroom needs. Thank you Mrs. Smith for all you do for your students and community!
