Attention Band Families! Cooper Music will be at Y-S on August 26, 2026, 3:15-6pm. This is a drop-in event, located in the elementary cafeteria, and is for anyone interested in renting or buying an instrument through Cooper Music. This is geared towards beginning band students, but anyone looking to get an instrument is welcome to join! Please contact Ms. Cole with any questions.

Stay Active in Your Student’s Education!

One of the easiest ways to stay informed and involved in your student’s education is to regularly check their grades in HAC (Home Access Center). Make sure you can log in and take a look at grades, assignments, and academic progress throughout the school year.

Attached are reminders with instructions for logging in and accessing HAC.

Having trouble logging in or need your password changed? Call the school office where your student attends, and we’ll be happy to help!

Another resource families may find helpful is GradeWay. GradeWay is an independent app and is not affiliated with Yellville-Summit Schools, but some families have found it useful for keeping track of student grades and assignments.

GREEN & WHITE FOOTBALL GAME UPDATE: Due to the heat, tomorrow night’s (Thursday, August 13) Green & White Football Game will now start at 6:00 PM. The safety of our players and everyone attending is our top priority. We will have plenty of water available, and we will continue to monitor the heat and make adjustments as needed. Please make sure your athletes and families are staying hydrated before, during, and after the game. The Booster Club Pie Auction is still on, and we need desserts! If you were planning to bring one, please bring it along. All pie auction proceeds will support the Yellville-Summit Athletics Booster Club. And we have a very exciting addition to the auction... An anonymous donor has generously donated two tickets to see Ella Langley in concert on August 22 at Simmons Bank Arena! These are excellent Lower Bowl seats and will be auctioned off tomorrow night. A huge thank you goes to our generous donor for this incredible contribution to the auction!! We are excited to see who goes home with these tickets! We also want to thank Sims Family Auctions for donating their time and talents to auctioneer tomorrow night’s event. We truly appreciate your support of Yellville-Summit Athletics! We will have a limited concession stand available as well - come enjoy drinks, snacks, and Johnny Freeze! Season passes include admission to every Yellville-Summit home volleyball, football, and basketball game during the 2026-2027 school year, excluding benefit games. Season passes can be purchased at the admission gate during home games or by contacting Tayler Lynch at tayler.lynch@ysk12.com.

Panther fans, it's almost time to kick off the 2026 fall sports season! Join us for two great events as we celebrate our student-athletes and get ready for another exciting year of Panther Athletics. 🏈 Green & White Football Kickoff Thursday, August 13 at Panther Stadium Come out for the Green & White scrimmage as our football teams take the field for the first time this season. Junior High begins at 5:00 PM, with Senior High to follow. Help support the football program by bringing laundry detergent or protein items. We're also accepting desserts for the Panther Booster Club Pie Auction, which helps support Panther athletic programs! 🏐 Green & White Volleyball Game Friday, August 21 at Panther Pavilion Chili Supper Fundraiser: 5:00-7:00 PM Junior High: 5:30 PM Athlete Recognition: 6:15 PM Varsity: 6:20 PM Dinner tickets are $5 and can be purchased from any volleyball player. Game admission is a non-perishable food item to benefit the Y-S Backpack Program. We hope you'll join us for both events as we celebrate the start of another Panther season. Yellville-Summit Schools Auction Information

We're excited to kick off another great year of Panther Athletics, and we hope you'll join us as we prepare for the upcoming season! Parents and guardians of student-athletes in grades 7-12 are encouraged to attend our Athletics Meeting on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 6:00 PM in Panther Pavilion.

During the meeting, we'll review important information for the upcoming school year, including:
- Required athletic information
- Heat illness awareness and prevention
- DragonFly Max setup, required forms, and student-athlete eligibility

This year, we are asking all parents and guardians to use the DragonFly Max platform. Please watch for important information and instructions that will be sent home with students and shared electronically over the next week to help you create your account and complete the required forms.

Following the general athletics meeting, football and volleyball will each hold separate parent/guardian meetings with their coaches. If your student participates in either of those sports, please plan to stay for your team's meeting.
