We’re excited to welcome our grandparents and special guests to campus very soon! A quick reminder for all visitors: all guests MUST check in at the office and present a valid ID upon arrival.

Grandparents and guests are welcome to arrive a little early to allow plenty of time for the check-in process before joining us for Goodies with Grands. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe while making this a special week for our families! 🥰

On game days, we wear green and white at Yellville-Summit! FBLA is selling green and white striped Game Bibs again this fall! Sizes range from Toddler 2T to Adult 4XL, and they're perfect for game days and school events! Order deadline: Friday, September 18th Payment: Cash or check (made payable to Y-S FBLA) Return forms and payment to Makala Allen in Room 333 or the Yellville-Summit High School Office Toddler and youth sizes are limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Forms should go out with elementary students this week, there are forms at the middle and high school offices, and you can get one from an FBLA member. You can also comment below with your email address if you'd like an order form sent to you that way! For more information and sizing info, refer to the order form. Seventh graders in Mrs. Harness’s class created their own Kandinsky-inspired circle paintings, choosing colors that represent who they are. The number of circles reflects how open they are: fewer circles represent openness, while more circles represent being more closed off.

Attention Band Families! Cooper Music will be at Y-S on August 26, 2026, 3:15-6pm. This is a drop-in event, located in the elementary cafeteria, and is for anyone interested in renting or buying an instrument through Cooper Music. This is geared towards beginning band students, but anyone looking to get an instrument is welcome to join! Please contact Ms. Cole with any questions.

Stay Active in Your Student’s Education!

One of the easiest ways to stay informed and involved in your student’s education is to regularly check their grades in HAC (Home Access Center). Make sure you can log in and take a look at grades, assignments, and academic progress throughout the school year.

Attached are reminders with instructions for logging in and accessing HAC.

Having trouble logging in or need your password changed? Call the school office where your student attends, and we’ll be happy to help!

Another resource families may find helpful is GradeWay. GradeWay is an independent app and is not affiliated with Yellville-Summit Schools, but some families have found it useful for keeping track of student grades and assignments.

GREEN & WHITE FOOTBALL GAME UPDATE: Due to the heat, tomorrow night’s (Thursday, August 13) Green & White Football Game will now start at 6:00 PM. The safety of our players and everyone attending is our top priority. We will have plenty of water available, and we will continue to monitor the heat and make adjustments as needed. Please make sure your athletes and families are staying hydrated before, during, and after the game. The Booster Club Pie Auction is still on, and we need desserts! If you were planning to bring one, please bring it along. All pie auction proceeds will support the Yellville-Summit Athletics Booster Club. And we have a very exciting addition to the auction... An anonymous donor has generously donated two tickets to see Ella Langley in concert on August 22 at Simmons Bank Arena! These are excellent Lower Bowl seats and will be auctioned off tomorrow night. A huge thank you goes to our generous donor for this incredible contribution to the auction!! We are excited to see who goes home with these tickets! We also want to thank Sims Family Auctions for donating their time and talents to auctioneer tomorrow night’s event. We truly appreciate your support of Yellville-Summit Athletics! We will have a limited concession stand available as well - come enjoy drinks, snacks, and Johnny Freeze! Please stay hydrated, and know that we will do everything we can to keep your kids safe while still having a great night of Panther football. Thank you for your understanding and support! Student Season Pass - $50

Season passes include admission to every Yellville-Summit home volleyball, football, and basketball game during the 2026-2027 school year, excluding benefit games. Season passes can be purchased at the admission gate during home games or by contacting Tayler Lynch at tayler.lynch@ysk12.com.
