📚 Important Update: Upcoming ATLAS Testing
The end of the school year is approaching, and it's almost time for our statewide ATLAS assessments! These tests help us measure how much your child has learned throughout the year and guide their next steps for success.
📝 What to Expect:
Grades K-10: English Language Arts & Mathematics
Grades 3-10: Science
High School: End-of-Course exams for Algebra I, Geometry, and Biology (depending on student courses).
Good to know: ATLAS assessments are untimed and adaptive, meaning questions adjust based on your student’s responses to let them work at a comfortable pace.
💡 How You Can Help:
Families play a huge role in helping students feel confident! You can support your child by:
Ensuring they get a good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast.
Making sure they arrive at school on time.
Encouraging them to simply try their best!

Dear Yellville-Summit Families,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of one of our valued cafeteria team members, Pam Foret, before school today on campus. We all loved her. Her kind smile and friendly words brought light to our campus.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her. This loss is deeply felt by our entire school community.
At this time, we are focused on supporting our students and staff. Counselors are available on campus for anyone who may need someone to talk to. We are doing our very best to care for all students and to honor our staff member with dignity and respect.
If you feel it is best to come to campus to see your child or check them out, you are absolutely welcome to do so.
We understand that news like this can be difficult for children to process. We encourage you to check in with your child this evening and reach out to us if additional support is needed.
We ask that you keep the family in your thoughts and allow privacy during this time.
Thank you for your compassion and support as we navigate this together.
Yellville-Summit School District is excited to explore opportunities that support extended learning and enrichment for our students.
More information will be shared as it becomes available.
