Yellville-Summit School District has received an overall B on our 2026 School Performance Report - an accomplishment that reflects the continued work happening across our district each day.
We’re also excited to share that Yellville-Summit Elementary School AND Yellville-Summit High School have been named 2026 Arkansas Gem Schools for Growth by Content Area - Mathematics!
This designation recognizes schools ranking in the top 10% statewide within their grade span for growth in mathematics - making this an exciting recognition of the progress our students are making.
We are proud of where we are, proud of the growth we’re seeing, and excited to keep moving forward.

Our Senior High Band is putting in the practice and getting ready to make that first march to the field! There’s just something special about Friday night lights, the sound of the band, and a Panther crowd in the stands. 🐾

Our juniors and seniors had the opportunity to visit the University of Arkansas–Northark Monday for a college fair! Students were able to connect with representatives from 40+ colleges and universities, ask questions, explore their options, and start thinking about what comes next after high school.
We love giving our students opportunities to explore their futures and see just how many possibilities are out there!
The High School Book Club is officially underway!
Our members picked up their first read of the year today, along with a few bookish goodies to get them started - bookmarks, annotation tabs, snacks, and more.

Calling all performers—young and old! Join us for the Turkey Trot Lip Sync on Friday, October 9th at 3:30 PM on the Turkey Trot stage! Whether you’re in elementary school or all grown up, there is a division for you.
Divisions:
►Elementary (PreK-4th Grade)
►Middle School (5th-8th Grade)
►High School (9th-12th Grade)
►Adult (18+)
Entry Fee: Just $5!
Bring your best moves, props, and costumes—creativity is key! Compete for the top spot by showing off your lip sync skills, stage presence, and originality.

FBLA is selling green and white striped Game Bibs again this fall! Sizes range from Toddler 2T to Adult 4XL, and they're perfect for game days and school events!
Order deadline: Friday, September 18th

Toddler and youth sizes are limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
Forms should go out with elementary students this week, there are forms at the middle and high school offices, and you can get one from an FBLA member. You can also comment below with your email address if you'd like an order form sent to you that way!

This is a drop-in event, located in the elementary cafeteria, and is for anyone interested in renting or buying an instrument through Cooper Music.
