5th graders went to the science fair at the OUR Cooperative in Harrison today to compete against local schools! Y-S took home 1st place and 3rd place in the “Team” category, 1st place in the “Other” category, and 2nd place in the “Chemistry” category. Congrats to all our science fair participants!💚💚💚 Way to go, Y-S!

Our 4th graders recently took part in an exciting and educational “Game of Life” event! Students visited different stations set up by local businesses and community members, where they had the chance to make real-world financial decisions. From buying cars and houses to paying for groceries, taxes, and bills, each student experienced what it’s like to manage money and make smart choices. Some were even lucky enough to win a little extra cash! It was a fun, hands-on way to learn about responsibility, budgeting, and life in the real world.
A huge thank you to the following businesses and volunteers for joining our special day!
•Lynch Truck Repair
•Allen's Grocery
•Entergy
•Davenport Realty
•Lakeview Auto Sales
•Doshier & Associates
•Yelcot
•Arvest
•State Farm
•Regional Family Medicine

We’re grateful for your time, expertise, and for helping our students connect classroom learning to real-life decisions!

4th graders helped kindergarteners read and build a house for the "Big Bad Wolf" to stay out of! We love getting our grade levels together and collaborating with each other!

Thank you to the anonymous donor who bought EVERY kindergartener a book from the Elementary Book Fair! Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

Last week, FBLA members took time to serve our community with a highway cleanup near the Buffalo River. After a job well done, they celebrated with a cookout and some great fellowship! Way to lead by example!
