
Congratulations to the 2024 Y-S Panther Football Homecoming Court! We will celebrate our royalty with festivities beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, October 4th at Panther Stadium. The Panther football game vs. Mayflower will kick off immediately following the ceremony. Come out to support these young ladies and the Panthers!

The Flu Clinic has changed from Monday October 14th to Wednesday October 16th.
If interested, forms went home with elementary and middle school students and are available for high school students in the high school office.
There are extras available in the nurse's office for anyone who needs one.

Hannah Hayward shot a personal best and ended up 15th overall at the 3A state golf match! Congratulations, Hannah - we are proud of you!



Members of the Y-S Volleyball Team and Y-S FBLA came together on Friday to participate in the 2024 H2Ozarks Shoreline Cleanup, sponsored by Anchor Pointe Resort! This group worked hard to pick up trash along the shore, making a positive impact on our local community. Afterward, everyone enjoyed pizza and ice cream at Anchor Pointe Restaurant. Thank you to everyone who participated, and thank you to Anchor Pointe for your support!






Join the majorettes on the field on October 24th! Forms were sent home for kindergarteners through 4th grade today!


Y-S golf teams participated in the 3A district golf tournament this past week. Seniors Hunter Raley and Hannah Hayward scored well enough to move on to their state matches at Cooper’s Hawk Golf Course in Melbourne, AR. Congratulations, Panther Golf!

At the football game on November 1, 2024, the Y-S Panther Athletic Department will host a special recognition of all our area veterans and current members of the armed services.

The end of the first quarter is coming up! We will have parent/teacher conferences on Thursday, October 10th where you will be able to pick up report cards and speak with teachers from 1:30-7:30. There will be no school for students on Friday, October 11th.


Our amazing 8th grade honors English students joined Kindergarten to read on Friday! It's a wonderful opportunity for our younger students to dive into the magic of books while getting inspired by their older peers.

We are excited to begin preparations for this year's Veterans Day slideshow! To ensure everything is up-to-date and accurate, we will be creating a new slideshow this year.
If you've submitted photos or information in the past, we kindly ask that you resubmit them to make sure your veteran is honored in this year’s presentation. Please include your veteran's photo, name, branch of service, rank, term(s) served, and relationship to any current Y-S student(s) or staff member(s).

Homecoming T-shirts are available to order now through September 18th!

We had a great turnout at our 1st Grade Academic Reading Night! A huge thank you to all the families who came out to support their young readers. The students had so much fun creating their own book boxes, and it was smiles all around! A special shout-out to Creekside Nursing Home for generously providing highlighters and frisbees for the kids. Your support made the night even more special!










Attention Guardians
Progress Reports, Picture Day Forms, Optional Flu Shot Forms, other Nurse Information, lots of papers are coming home with students today for 5th - 12th graders and September 16 in Monday folders for grades K-4.

Yellville-Summit school buses running down Highway South 14 may run 10-15 minutes late today (September 10) due to construction.
