⭐️Yellville-Summit FBLA had an outstanding performance at the FBLA State Leadership Conference in Little Rock this week! ⭐️ We are incredibly proud of all our students who competed and represented our school with excellence: • Kyla Jackson – 1st Place in Word Processing • Elizabeth Smith – 1st Place in Public Speaking • Fay Chism – 4th Place in UX Design • Dakota Bass – Top 10 in Help Desk • Bradlynn Davenport, Ava Chism, & Chloe St. John – Top 10 in Broadcast Journalism • Lila Hurley – Competed in Help Desk A huge congratulations to Kyla, Elizabeth, and Fay, who earned the opportunity to compete at the FBLA National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California this summer! Y-S and Flippin students spent part of the day Wednesday at our 4th annual Career Fair. The students gathered information from colleges, military personnel, and businesses to help guide their career paths. Y-S would like thank the guests who attended and helped make this such a successful event. We can’t wait until next year!

Sophia, Shaylee, Brookelynn, and Samuel (along with many other middle school students) earned a ticket for being responsible, respectful, and/or safe. The elementary finished off book fair week with some WINNERS! Each winner got to choose a free item from the book fair! Thank you for all the support!

Shane Stolz from the Marion County Farm Bureau recently visited Ms. Davenport’s science class to read a book about gardening. We’re grateful for community members who invest in our children’s education and inspire young minds!

💚🧡 Panthers Change Lives Final Update 🧡💚 We are beyond grateful for your incredible support during the Panthers Change Lives Change Drive! Thanks to your generosity, we raised a total of $4,678.26! All of this will go directly to the school’s Backpack Program, helping combat student hunger. A special shout out to the grades that brought in the most for each building: 🏆 Elementary – 3rd Grade with $1,028.39 (The highest total across the entire district! 👏) 🏆 Middle School – 6th Grade with $605.09 🏆 High School – A come-from-behind win with 9th Grade bringing in $253.59 🏅 We are so proud to be Panthers, and we are thrilled to see how everyone came together for such a worthy cause. YSMS 6th grader, Leslie Hill, earned the 2nd place individual trophy today at the chess tournament at NAC. Way to go, Leslie with an undefeated record today!
