Students from Y-S attended a Build a Skill and Career Day at Mt Judea on Thursday, Oct. 23rd. Students visited stations on how to write checks, tie a tie, change oil, and change a tire. Students were also able to visit with industry partners about job applications and qualifications in a variety of fields. See the flyer attached for a list of industry partners that attended.
Y-S Elementary Fall Carnival was a huge success! Thank you to all the families, teachers, volunteers, and community members who came out to make it such a fun and festive evening! Yesterday the seniors participated in the Arkansas Application Campaign. Each student applied to at least one technical, trade, and/or college institution, then enjoyed lunch provided by Nick Reynolds of Arvest. We’re grateful for our community members, teachers, and staff who help guide them toward their goals!
